Meet Eater Young Gun Semi-Finalist & 'Meat Mama' Leighann Smith of Cochon Butcher

Eater National is introducing each of the 50 Eater Young Guns semi-finalists through a series of interviews and features, including an in-depth look at New Orleans own Young Gun semi-finalist and meat mama Leighann Smith. Today, Smith lists ten things you should know about her in this snazzy Eater National video, from growing up in the Bay area to being a former ballerina. Most importantly: At age 28, Smith is now the head butcher at Cochon Butcher.
