Upcoming doner hotness Kebab will host a Kickstarter launch party and gallery opening during Second Saturday, this June 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. at their upcoming location. Owners Benjamin Harlow and Walker Reisman will be grilling and opening fresh young thai coconuts for FREE cocktails (homemade sodas also available), and seeking contributions to help fund their opening.
Harlow tells Eater that the Kickstarter is an effort to raise the final 10% of their budget, so the duo can stock shelves and round out operations costs as they prepare to get Kebab off the ground. Their final electrical and building inspection is today. Meanwhile, they've been cleared by the Fire Marshall for 48 seats, but still need a hood inspection. In other words, they are oh-so-close to bringing a menu of doner kebab, falafel and more, plus pop ups and art, to the budding St. Claude scene, if all goes as planned.
