Holy moly, Pizza Domenica (4933 Magazine) apparently did 500-700 covers a night during opening week, and they've already "had to order more highchairs." All this according to Todd A. Price, who also notes that the 20 or so pizzas are big enough for two adults to share and the vibe is sort of that of a "welcoming pub." Appropriate, seeing as the restaurant boasts a killer beer list.
Meanwhile, Pizza Domenica neighbor Fare Food Apothecary (4838 Magazine) is holding down the "soy-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free" baked goods front, Sarah Baird reports, with "cupcakes, raisin spice cookies, and flax muffins with a strong tea and smoothie collection to round out the good-for-you snacking." And it's "charmingly twee," with an in-store dining space slated to open in the next few weeks.
