Sarah Baird on the food menu at Bywater newcomer Bar Redux, now open in the former Joint space (801 Poland Ave): "The menu is small but growing, with a number of quirky twists on comfort food staples from chef Kevin Querant including a ribeye cheesesteak and a Cuban sandwich anchored by garlic infused roasted pork. The Jamaican jerk cheesesteak nachos (off-menu for now, but always available) have become a popular dish for late night bar patrons," and there's vegetarian options too. [Gambit]
