CENTRAL CITY— Todd Price reports that Good Work Network is seeking vendors for an upcoming food court opening this fall at 2000 OC Haley: "Modeled on a project called Market 707 in Toronto, the site will have six vendors selling international street food." They're currently accepting applications right here. [NOLA.com]

BYWATER— A new bar is now open in the former (original) Joint space at 801 Poland. Bar Redux features a wild paint job by artist Michael Roman and a caribbean/creole pop up that seems to primarily turn out cheese steaks, burgers, and vegetarian food. Early word via Yelpers seems good. [Eaterwire]

NOLA— Here are five bars with outdoor patios that are both "functional and fashionable" (ie. fans, umbrellas, trees) courtesy of The Times-Pic: Aline Street Beer Garden, Bayou Beer Garden, Mid City Yacht Club, The Rusty Nail, and The Velvet Cactus (not really a bar, but "one of the loveliest patios in Lakeview").
