Pal's owner Suzanne Accorsi is bringing the craft cocktail scene to Old Metairie with her complete overhaul of longtime beer-and-a-shot bar Martine's Lounge (2347 Metairie Rd.). Sarah Baird reports that Accorsi purchased the bar last fall, and since been revamping the place with a "refined" vibe and craft drinks, such as the bestselling Pie Eyed Pig and Paloma Rose. [Gambit]
