Taking a quick and very important break from Calzone Power Hour: Voting for the final round of the Best Pizza in New Orleans starts now. For all the uninitiated, here's how it works: Throughout the week 32 pizza-powerhouses have been narrowed down by voters to just four remaining finalists. There have been some serious upsets and surprises. Mid City Pizza, for instance, is definitely the under dog and has been killing it. The second round of the semis saw an extremely tight race with Domenica and Pizza Delicious squeaking ahead of Pizza Nola.
Voting for the finals will be open for 24 hours, which means tomorrow, March 21, at 2:30 p.m. Eater NOLA will congratulate a new champion for having the Best Pizza in New Orleans. You all know the rules...four pizzas enter, but only one will leave victorious. Let's keep it clean, and may the winners be showered in shredded mozzarella and beer.
Here are your finalists: Mid City Pizza, Reginelli's, Domenica and Pizza Delicious. Who makes the best pizza in New Orleans?
