QUARTER— Robert Peyton ditches all those new spots for a return to Bayona this week, and finds a great new menu addition, fried chicken livers: "These livers were fried perfectly. The richness was cut by a Caribbean pickle of cucumbers and jicama, as well as a sauce that approximated 'barbecue' without being cloyingly sweet. It was an outstanding plate of food." [Haute]
