[Photo: Paul Broussard] As previously mentioned Carrollton Market is gearing up for a Riverbend opening on Tuesday, and here now, is a first look at chef Jason Goodenough's opening food and beverage menus. There's a balance between both modern and traditional Southern comfort here, with the food side including a cassoulet, chicken and dumplins' featuring a housemade potato gnocchi, and those certain-to-be-addictive crispy pork tail tots. Not surprising as Goodenough tells Eater two of his favorite restaurants in New Orleans are Toups Meatery and Restaurant R'evolution. On the drinks side, expect classics and on-trend house signatures.
