Last night, Cure celebrated their five year anniversary, and Eater was on hand to capture some party evidence. The landmark bar that helped spark the Freret street come-back and craft cocktail revolution in New Orleans was packed, as Cure alumni, friends, and family came out in droves to celebrate. Guests sipped specialty libations from Cure bartenders past and present. The first hour was really a throwback, with Kirk Estopinal and Neal Bodenheimer tending bar alongside Rhiannon Enlil, Danny Valdez, and Ricky Gomez. Chef Adam Biderman manned a cheese and charcuterie station all night, and outside, folks gobbled up jambalaya. A good time was had by all.
