Status: Soft opening this week; officially open March 17
Adolfo Garcia's beloved Argentinian steakhouse La Boca is softly reopening this week, but a call to the restaurant reveals they aren't taking any reservations yet, and Todd A. Price also notes that the actual official opening to the public is next Monday, March 17.
La Boca's new spot is in Garcia's former Italian gem a Mano which sadly shuttered over Labor Day weekend in 2013 and doubles the size of the steakhouse, with seating for 78.
As for the design, Price reports menu "the space will be more elaborate and comfortable" with architect Brooks Graham of Cochon-fame having overseen the renovation, and none other than Donald Link's cousin/metal genie/he of killer 'stache D-Wayne Link, constructing the new bar.
Hours: Dinner only, Mon-Wed, 5:30 to 10 p.m. and Thu-Sat, 5:30 to Midnight.
