Sylvain Team Opening Barrel Proof in Bridge Lounge

Shocking switcheroo today with lord of the scoop Todd A. Price reporting that massive bar/drunkypants trivia hub Bridge Lounge is closing April 1, and Sylvain's Sean McCusker, along with business partners Patrick Finney and Robert Leblanc (he of Meauxbar's revamp) will open a 'shot and beer' bar there called Barrel Proof. Bartender Liam Deegan will also come along from Sylvain to run the bar program, which will pretty much go 'back to the basics.'

Expect good whiskey, craft beer and Schlitz on tap, and extremely simple cocktails (think three ingredients or less). The bar's design will include booze related memorabilia, but no highfalutin fancy stuff. No word on an opening date yet.
