Seems like only yesterday that Cure became a trailblazer on Freret Street and a leader in New Orleans' (and the world's) craft cocktail scene with a James Beard Award nomination and successful expansions in the form of Bellocq, Cane & Table, and the drinks program at Fulton Alley but it's been five whole years since they opened.
Tomorrow night, Neal Bodenheimer and company will celebrate Cure's fifth anniversary with a party featuring the bartenders of Cure past and present and a rotating menu of favorite cocktails-by-year, all starting at 8 p.m.
Ricky Gomez (of Bar Rescue fame), Danny Valdez, and Maks Pazuniak and more bartenders are flying in from all over the country and will bartend in shifts, alongside local favorites including Rhiannon Enlil, Nick Detrich, and Kirk Estopinal. There will be five menus, one for each year and they will rotate out on the hour (check them out after the jump). The bar opens to the public at 8 p.m.
