UPTOWN— Todd A. Price reports that the Popeyes at 4041 Magazine has shut down as of today for reasons unknown. []

IRISH CHANNEL— GG's Dine-O-Rama (3100 Mag) is gearing up for Saturday's St. Patrick's Day parade with all sorts of specials for breakfast (8 a.m. to noon) and lunch (noon to 5 p.m.) plus drink specials including green beer, Irish car bomb Jello shots and Irish car bomb milkshakes. [Eaterwire]
