NOLA— Laura McKnight reports that Hattiesburg's Southern Prohibition Brewing is about to be available in town at the Lucky Rooster, Mellow Mushroom, Lagers and more restaurants/bars. Special tappings are also happening next week at Avenue Pub and both locations of The Bulldog. [NOLA.com]

MID CITY— Nonprofit cafe/caterer/food service-training program for at risk youth, Liberty's Kitchen, has just announced David Emond as their new Executive Director. Emond most recently served as Director of Development at Café Reconcile, and while there, helped the organization achieve a $5.9 million fundraising campaign among other achievements. He replaces Liberty Kitchen's founder Janet Davas. [Eaterwire]
