La Boca Moving into Former a Mano Space

Todd A. Price reports that Adolfo Garcia's popular Argentinian steakhouse La Boca is moving a few blocks away to the former a Mano space at 870 Tchoup, where it will double its size and capacity. A Mano— also of the Garcia empire— shockingly shuttered back in September 2013, but La Boca has continued to remain booked up months in advance, so the extra space will be much welcomed. There had been some rumors that Milkfish, the Filipino pop up currently holding down Sundays in La Boca, would be taking over the 857 Fulton space, but that's apparently no longer in the cards, as Cristina Quackenbush recently told Eater she's now looking into Mid City digs.

As for the new La Boca, expect the doors to open by Mardi Gras with a 'look similar to the current location,' a deeper wine list, and about 40 scotches available at the bar.
