Crawfish Alert

bev2%3A6.jpgCrawfish season may be off to rather expensive and slow start (thanks, frigid weather), but Brett Anderson reports that newly opened Bevi Seafood(4701 Airline) is hauling in the cray crays anyways. Owner Justin LeBlanc's fine dining background also makes this seafood retail shop/restaurant home to cochon de lait "finished with pickled peppers and charred onion mayo," a "fried oyster po' boy with smoked gouda and pastrami bacon" and weekend specials of "fried oysters nestled on the half-shell."
