Todd A. Price reports that Irish House owners Alicia Murphy and chef Matt Murphy are opening Fare Food Apothecary, specializing in healthy take-out options, in Uptown mid-February. Fare will be located at 4838 Magazine and will "sell prepared foods that are soy-, gluten- and dairy-free" for those times when a Guinness isn't in the cards (wait, there are times like that!?)
Expect juice and smoothies, but also bread, muffins and cupcakes that are likely prepared with food allergies and anti-inflammatory diets in mind. The Murphys also plan to add pre-made meals, including soups and salads to the mix.
