FRENCH QUARTER— Check out this tomato warehouse-turned-"contemporary complex," that comes with an in-house theater and circular bar. The just-listed property is shooting for $3,595,000.

NOLA— Sure, getting a hotel room at this point in the Mardi Gras madness is nearly impossible so here are five last minute Mardi Gras rentals, from a "treehouse" apartment to a mattress on the floor.

WAREHOUSE DISTRICT— Presenting a downtown development of a different ilk. This 1880s warehouse just sold for $3.5 million and surprisingly, it has nothing to do with luxury living or hotels.

CENTRAL CITY— There was a ground breaking shindig at the old Gator's Department Store on Oretha Castle Haley Blvd., the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra's new home. Renderings this way.
