NOLA— Sure, getting a hotel room at this point in the Mardi Gras madness is nearly impossible so here are five last minute Mardi Gras rentals, from a "treehouse" apartment to a mattress on the floor.

WAREHOUSE DISTRICT— Presenting a downtown development of a different ilk. This 1880s warehouse just sold for $3.5 million and surprisingly, it has nothing to do with luxury living or hotels.
