Baie Rouge, French/Spanish bistro and an Eater Readers' most underrated fave, is now serving booze. According to Megan Braden-Perry, this Uptown restaurant on the booming 4000 block of Magazine is BYOB no more, with a new cocktail list featuring everything from Kir Royales to Margaritas.
They've also added a happy hour Monday to Saturday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with $5 wine and $6 cocktails, and there is currrently a Carnival food menu with shrimp and grits, a veggie burger and chicken-andouille gumbo, alongside their signature dishes like the massive fish sandwich.
