Meauxbar Shutters For Good, New Owners Revealed

As of this weekend Meauxbar Bistro has shuttered for good. Rumors were circulating last week about the restaurant's impending closure, and now Todd A. Price has the update on the building's future.

It's been sold to the brothers Touzet— Leon and Pierre— who own lots of properties around town and are also partners in Patois with chef Aaron Burgau. Price notes, "the purchase, however, is an independent deal and unrelated to Patois. The Touzets have no immediate plans for the Meauxbar property."
