John Besh Draws Country's Best Chefs to Nola for Fête des Chefs in 2015

The fundraiser will feature ten chefs cooking dinners in ten New Orleans' homes on March 21.

For those with $500 to burn through while eating a meal prepared by avec's Paul Kahan in James Carville's dining room, 2015 may be your year of dream-catching. Brett Anderson reports that the John Besh Foundation has created a new fundraiser, Fête des Chefs, which will feature ten of the country's finest chefs cooking in ten of the finest homes around New Orleans on March 21, 2015.  The list of chefs participating is rather astonishing. Behold the glory, but don't stare directly into the light lest it blind you:

  • Paul Kahan, Blackbird, avec, and more, Chicago
  • Michael Anthony, Gramercy Tavern
  • Marc Vetri, Vetri, Philadelphia
  • Michael Solomonov, Sahav, Philadelphia
  • Ashley Christensen, Poole's Diner,  Raleigh, J
  • John Currence, Nola Native, City Grocery,  Oxford, MS
  • Vishwesh Bhatt, Snack Bar, Oxford, MS
  • Tiffany Derry, Top Chef and Hungry Investors fame
  • Edward Lee, 610 Magnolia,  Louisville
  • Aarón Sánchez, Paloma and Johnny Sánchez
  • Chris Shepherd, Underbelly,  Houston

Tickets go on sale today, but if you aren't baller enough to afford a seat at the chef's tables, there is also a $145/person Young Supporters dinner reception at Billy Reid, and a $60/person after party at Borgne.
