Every December New Orleans Magazine rolls out their top dining picks of the year, and the 2014 awards have just gone live. The panel of experts making these picks is comprised of their restaurant writers/critics Jay Forman, Robert Peyton, and Tim McNally and the magazine's editorial staff, and they've again included some interesting categories this year, like Southeast Asian Restaurant of the Year and the Giving Back category.
And because in New Orleans there's approximately a bazillion different restaurants and chefs that qualify for Best of Dining awards, the writers note that in some categories "the pick could have gone in several directions." Prepare your golf claps... The winners are:
