Boxing Day (aka December 26) brought the Bywater, its "hotly anticipated burger and beer joint," Junction, according to Sarah Baird of the Gambit.
Creative burgers and contemporary takes on pub food classics rule the menu here, as well as a 40-tap beer list with a focus on local brews like NOLA Brewing's newest release, Prytania Porter, and Covington Brewhouse's Anonymous IPA. The list also features lesser known beers from national craft brewers like Big Leaf Maple from Anchor Brewing in San Francisco, Live from Southern Tier in New York State, and a 3.4% ABV session ale from Brooklyn Brewing called 1/2 Ale.
Junction is open from 4pm until "late," seven days a week.
