Because it's nearing peak 2015 anticipation time, Todd Price has just unveiled his top coming attractions to savor next year. The list includes 15 forthcoming restaurants (find them below), including Robert Leblanc's (of Meauxbar and Sylvain) "meat-heavy" Uptown expansion--formerly known as Manor on Magazine--which has a new name: Cavan Co., in honor of Leblanc's Irish heritage, but still no chef.
Meanwhile, the still-unnamed restaurant likely heading to Magazine and Nashville from the NYC-restaurateurs behind Maysville is bringing along their chef. Yes, Maysville chef Kyle Knall will do "'American' food with smoky flavors to compliment the restaurant's large bourbon list." Across town, the rather hush-hush expansion from SF pizza place Pizzetta 211 called Palador 511 is still on for the 511 Marigny building by the end of January. In the Warehouse District, Hot Tails chef Cody Carroll (from New Roads, LA) will open Cajun/Creole restaurant Sac-A-Lait in the former Sun Ray Grill around March.
