MARIGNY: This week Todd Price suggests ordering the spicy ma po tofu at Bao & Noodle, now open in the former Sound Cafe, noting, "most of the recipes at Bao and Noodle are Cantonese. Its pleasures are more subtle." [NOLA.com]

QUARTER: Brett Anderson looks into the post-Thanksgiving tradition of turkey bone gumbo this week, noting his buddy Pableaux Johnson's knack for the tradition. For great turkey bone gumbo out on the town Anderson suggests heading to Emeril's NOLA for a variation "thick and dark, filled with poultry morsels big enough to cut with a knife (but of course tender enough to slice with a spoon)."
