Dinner Lab, The members-only underground supper club that's been multiplying faster than Gizmo under a leaky faucet, is now dipping its toes in the '$9 billion dollar industry' of private events, Todd Price reports. The company's catering business has apparently grown "15-percent each month over the last quarter," with about 40 events now under their belt, including Solange Knowles' wedding at the Marigny Opera House last month.

CEO Brian Bordainick and company are now crowdsourcing $2 million in private investments from their members, but only the sexy 'accredited' members who have a million dollars in assets or a $200,000+ annual income, with the minimum investment starting at $10,000. The funding will reportedly go toward "technology upgrades and hiring staff."

The company also raised $3.1 million via crowdsourcing earlier this year, announcing plans to open the first crowdsourced restaurant sometime in the near future, moving into a new space on O.C. Haley, and experimenting with delivery service.
