Unsuspecting bespectacled Clark Kent behind Scooper Man Todd Price reports that Blue Line Sandwich Co., the new breakfast and lunch spot in Old Metairie from Ye Olde College Inn alum and farm-to-table pusher Bradley McGeehee, is now softly open at 2023 Metairie Road.  The grand opening is planned for 2015, and the restaurant is still awaiting a permit to ride the impending booze train known as the Bloody Mary bar. Check out the breakfast and lunch menu, which include breakfast paninis, omelets and more in the a.m. and soup/salad/sandwiches at lunch. Current Hours: Tuesday to Sunday,  7 a.m. to 2 p.m. with expanded menu/hours planned for 2015.

Price also reports that LMNO, a new restaurant inside Le Méridien (formerly The W at 333 Poydras) is now open with Colombian chef Mauricio Gutierrez heading up the kitchen with a menu of Latin American flavors served in an ever contemporary fashion. Hours: Dinner daily from 5 to 11 p.m.
