1000 Figs, the highly-anticipated brick and mortar expansion from Theresa Galli and Gavin Cady of Fat Falafel is now open in the former Maple Street Books Mid City location (3141 Ponce de Leon St.). The menu features their coveted falafel and some of the best french fries in the city, along with a few new items, including a kale salad with squid, lamb with cucumber salad and shrimp with corn couscous. Do take note: The Fat Falafel truck is parked until 2015, around the same time 1,000 Figs plans to roll out brunch.
The adorable space features art and decor from Sadie Sheldon and furniture from Daniel Bell, including dining tables with pull out drawers for silverware.
Hours: Lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
