Todd Price reports that Bogdan Mocanu is OUT at Dolce Vita Woodfired Pizza, the beloved LGD pizzeria he founded alongside biz partner Charlie Ruffollo, and plans to spend more time with his family. Ruffolo has already brought on chef Zac Watters, of Mandeville's Zachary's fame. Watters has been trained by Mocanu and plans toexpand the menu with more traditional Italian dishes. The restaurant plans to add in a bar in 2015 too. Also good news: Mocanu leaves behind his 60-year-old starter for the dough, so the pizza should still be rockin'.
Price also reports that Drake Leonards has stepped up as chef de cuisine at Besh Group brasserie/oyster happy hour fave Lüke in the CBD, taking over for Matt Regan.
