City Greens Expands To Elmwood; Bayou Wine Garden Planned For Mid City

MID CITY: Mid City whisperer Della Hasselle reports that Bayou Beer Garden is planning top open an adjacent Bayou Wine Garden and restaurant in 2015 that will be connected to their already-awesome deck area by a bridge. The wine garden will have charc/cheese boards, more refined dining than the home of debris fries, 150+ wines, and a vibe similar to Bacchanal. [MidCityMessenger]

WAREHOUSE DISTRICT: This week Todd Price takes a look at expansion Chateau Du Lac Warehouse Bistro, located int eh former La Boca space (857 Fulton) noting that the newcomer "feels fresh but also like a throwback to an older age." [NOLA.com]

ELMWOOD: Health-minded restaurant City Greens has expanded with a second location at 5161 Citrus Boulevard. The restaurant serves offer fresh, natural soups, salads, wraps and pressed juices. [Eaterwire]

CENTRAL CITY: More on the upcoming 'Food Port'/food court Roux Carre heading to OCH this winter, from Ian McNulty: "Thursday will mark a new milestone as the nonprofit Good Work Network hosts a free, public launch party and groundbreaking ceremony...
