A Look at The Must Order Drinks & Snacks At Johnny Sánchez

The taqueria from John Besh and Aarón Sánchez has been packed since opening day, so dining at the bar is a good choice if there's room to squeeze in.

If you're hoping to eat at Johnny Sánchez, the new taqueria from BFF chefs John Besh and Aarón Sánchez, you better have a reservation because it's been frickin' crazy up in there since opening day two weeks ago. But, of course, one can always get around this by slipping in and saddling up at the bar, where bartender Valerie Schuman and team having been busy slinging top shelf margaritas and house made horchata.

Believe it or not, this is probably Besh's most booze-focused restaurant, which makes sense when you really think about it: People normally don't drink wine with tacos. Beer maybe, but margaritas and other boozy libations? Yes, indeed. While the cocktail menu is short and sweet, Schuman and company aren't averse to creating off-menu specialties. There will also be a forever-rotating seasonal margarita on the list (right now it's a grilled pineapple variation).

Here now, is a look at the must-order drinks and dishes. Plus, the full menu below.
