Todd Price reports that Bao & Noodle, the highly-anticipated casual new Chinese restaurant from Herbsaint alum Doug Crowell, has officially opened in the Marigny in the former Sound Cafe location (2700 Chartres).  The most expensive menu item, whole fish, will set one back $16. All other entrees are under $14, and appetizers including bao and scallion pancakes are all about $5. House specialties include steam buns and handmade noodles, hence the name.
