MARIGNY: Alex Woodward reports that former garbage czar Sidney Torres and his neighbor Buffa's will meet once again in court on October 21, following a 60-day arrangement made earlier this summer in which Buffa's agreed to address sound/live music issues that Torres claims exceed the city's sound ordinance. FAUBOURG ST. JOHN: Robert Morris reports that the City Planning Commission gave a unanimous thumbs up for The Half Shell Oyster Bar to sell booze this week. The restaurant will now head before City Council. [MidCityMessenger]
