New Asian Cuisine on Vets, Rodney Scott at Cohon, More

METAIRIE— Megan Braden-Perry reports that Soho Asian Cuisine is now open at 601 Vets: "The extensive menu includes Chinese rice and noodle dishes, clay pots, Korean barbecue and sushi rolls. Diners can eat at the sushi bar, and there is a party room and three Japanese-style tatami rooms with seating on floor cushions at low tables." [Gambit]

WAREHOUSE DISTRICT— Brett Anderson reminds everyone that celebrated pitmaster Rodney Scott, will be smoking a whole hog at Cochon tomorrow night, January 29, with $100/person benefit dinner runs from 6 to 10 p.m. in Cochon's even space Calcasieu.
