The times they are a changing, folks. Today Todd A. Price reports that a permanent food truck lot will find a home at 2000 Oretha Castle Haley in Central City, which has already been the site of a few round-ups. The nonprofit Good Work Network who further helped revitalize OCH with the Franz Building is overseeing the project, which is being funded by a Community Economic Development grant, and will include "parking spaces for six trucks along with booths made from recycled shipping containers," and could potentially create 20 jobs. The lot will look to draw lunch/after work crowds with planned hours for Tuesday-Saturday, mid day to evening.
