MARIGNY— Todd Price reports that the future of Hubig's is still uncertain, as there hasn't really been any progress on the potential Press Street location, which is still owned by NOCCA. [NOLA.com]

QUARTER— As of this week, French Quarter boozing hub Tiki Tolteca (301 N. Peters in Felipe's) is now open six nights a week. Wednesday through Monday 5 p.m. - until. Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. [Eaterwire]

BATON ROUGE— Chelsea Brasted reports that the co-founders behind the restaurant group Last In Concepts that started Walk Ons, Happy's, and more bro-centric places have parted ways. A new business partner has come on board with plans to turn Walk Ons into a national chain. [NOLA.com]

QUARTER— In a nice departure from king cake season, Scott Gold reports that Restaurant R'evolution's pastry chef Erin Swanson is reaching out to TEAM PIE by offering a pie du jour during Wednesday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. They've even done a vinegar pie. [Gambit]

BYWATER— Megan Braden-Perry reports that Sneaky Pickle, a restaurant specializing in (but not strictly) vegan/vegetarian cuisine is opening at 4017 St. Claude in early February. Chef Ben Tabor is an alum of Boucherie, Mariza and Delachaise, and his menu will include the likes of "flatbread with either vegan fillings or pork belly, food bowls, tempeh Reubens, vegan patty melts and fried tofu salad."
