Doug MacCash reports that Cochon Butcher is home to one of New Orleans' only female butchers, Leighann Smith, aka 'Meat Mama.' Smith heads up Butcher's meat department and will soon be on display, as an upcoming expansion (likely complete this Spring) will move the butchers downstairs, so customers can watch. [NOLA.com]
