Chef Dan Esses is busting out a trial run of lunch service at Three Muses (536 Frenchmen) today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be another trial run on January 24, and then regular Friday-Sunday lunch hours begin on January 31.
This could be a very good way to actually get in the door and find a seat at this always-packed Frenchmen favorite. As for the menu, sandwiches and po boys will come on bread from Dong Phuong bakery, and all pastas are made in house. The menu features Esses' legendary lamb sliders, some vegetarian items, and oh yes, deviled eggs.
