CBD— A year from now and a $15-million renovation later, these three buildings on the corner of Canal and Camp Streets should be 44 units of luxury living with a rooftop pool and cabana. The downtown development train cannot be stopped, y'all.
LOWER GARDEN DISTRICT— An empty building on St. Charles Avenue is on its way to a new life as a grocery store. A couple things to look forward to: a walk-in cigar humidor and a "beer cave."
CBD— The historic Orpheum Theater, flood-damaged and sitting empty on University Place since Hurricane Katrina, has new owners lined up with big renovation plans.
