Motown Coney Island Opens, SoBou Dinner in NYC

FAUBOURG ST. JOHN? An Eater tipster informs us that new hot dog joint Motown Coney Island is now open on Broad and Orchid, next to Ming Garden and Subway. While the menu is unknown at this time, the name is an allusion to Detroit's beloved 'Coney Island,' a hotdog covered in chili, mustard and onion. [Eaterwire]

Price reports that on August 14 at 6 p.m. Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse will will host a grass-fed beef picnic with meats Louisiana-based Gonsoulin ranch: "Each cut will be prepared two ways: one simple to show off the beef and the other more creative." $45/person.
