Ian McNulty reports on a couple of upcoming theme-dinners at Bayona this week: Tomorrow, August 6, a dinner centered around the new cookbook Treme: Stories and Recipes From the Heart of New Orleans? in which Susan Spicer is featured? will take place, with author Lolis Eric Elie on hand to sign copies. There's a cocktail hour at 5p.m. followed by a $40 four-course dinner. Also, from August 12-17, Bayona will celebrate Julia Child's birthday with a $48 special menu. [Gambit]
