On June 23, bandmates Grantley Rushing and Alex Siler debuted their Chinese-Vietnamese-Korean-Thai pop up in Pal's Lounge. Super Moon Wokery will next appear this Sunday, serving up an encore of its best dish yet: a stir-fry of kale and butternut squash topped with peanut and chicken sauce that it tried out last week. Rushing, who works by day as a chef at Café Degas, says it's all possible thanks to his tutelage at a Chinese strip-mall joint in Jackson, Miss. "Learning in the mall was not necessarily the most authentic place, maybe, but the owner was from Thailand." [Gambit]
