Michael Gulotta Will Open Mopho in Mid City

Rejoice, for Todd A. Price has just revealed some major details about Michael Gulotta's upcoming, highly anticipated mystery restaurant. First of all, this is a big win for MID CITY, with the former-August chef de cuisine planning to open Mopho in the old Chimes bookstore space at 514 City Park Avenue? yes, in that odd little cluster of buildings/mini stripmall that's home to Subway, Burger King, Ike's Snoballs, and a taco joint. The menu will basically be seasonal "Southeast Asian meets New Orleans," as in Mopho for the mofos. Jeff Gulotta is in charge of the cocktail program and FOH. The hip-casual restaurant will also have a covered deck for outdoor seating.
