The Executive director of the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board, Ewell Smith, has resigned. No reasons were given as to why. But now board chairman, chef John Folse, and his board will submit a list of nominees for the position to Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne, who will choose a new exec director. [AP]
