Say it ain't so... Todd A. Price reports that Adolfo Garcia's acclaimed Italian restaurant in the CBD, a Mano, is sadly closing for good. The four-year-old home of insanely decadent gnudi? and also regarded as one of Eater's Ultimate Last Meals in New Orleans, decided by you, our dear readers? will ultimately serve their last meal before shuttering over Labor Day weekend.

Garcia, who also owns La Boca, High Hat Cafe, Ancora, and Gusto, tells The TP that business at a Mano has not been good, but he doesn't blame the onslaught of new restaurants in New Orleans: "I don't think we have too many restaurants. People are dining out exponentially more than they used to."

No word on any upcoming restaurant plans for Garcia in the near future.
