Last night the Dante's Kitchen team opened the door to Noodle & Pie on the corner of State and Magazine. It's all very secretive, just as you would expect from a true RAMEN and PIE sneak attack invasion, taking over the collective NOLA foodbrain starting now. Little is known about the phone number, hours, or menu, but one thing is certain: "Noodle & Pie is open for business," as in, "come on in from now to perpetuity. Open." The cult-favorite pop up from Dante's owner/chef Eman Loubier, sous chef Brian Armour, and pastry chef Kris Bouley, now has a permanent and swanky noodle bar, located in the completely redone former Reginelli's space. Expect all sorts of mind blowing handmade ramen, grilled meats and yakitori, Asian-inspired small plates, and sweet pies on the cheap.

Hours: Word on the street is that Noodle & Pie will be open today, August 2, at 4:30 p.m. Regular hours of operation unknown. UPDATE 8/5/13: Closed Mondays. Sunday, Tuesday-Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and until midnight on Friday and Saturday, according to Ian McNulty.
