Sue Zemanick Skydives Back to Top Chef Masters Tonight

New Orleans' very own Sue Zemanick from Gautreau's will appear tonight at 9:00 pm in the premiere of the fifth season of Bravo's frighteningly addictive Top Chef Masters. It will be Zemanick's second stint on the reality show, and, back when the fifth season cast was released in June, Bravo also revealed that Zemanick would be teaming up with Gautreau's owners Patrick and Rebecca Singley to open a "small plates restaurant" called Ivy in the space formerly occupied by Vizard's.

In other words, Zemanick has been insanely busy for the last few months, even busier than an executive chef is under normal circumstances. She told the Times-Pic recently that she would love to win the $100,000 cash-money prize so she can donate it to the Gulf Restoration Network, but that, even if she doesn't win, "the show is a wonderful platform to talk about issues affecting Gulf seafood and the effort to save our barrier islands."

The competition starts tonight with an opening segment chef skydive. Look for celebrity judges like Mindy Kaling and Kathie Lee Gifford to offer their harshest culinary critiques (as they secretly enjoy all the free grub).
