toups2.jpgLast Thursday, Haute Plates blogger Robert Peyton wrote an impassioned and totally off-the-cuff defense of Toups' Meatery because, well, Peyton really likes Toups' and he just doesn't think the Mid City institution of all things carnivorous gets enough love. Case in point: "Toups' doesn't get the attention it deserves. Whether that's because of its location off the beaten path in Mid-City or because people don't really understand the restaurant's name is an open question.
