Chefs Weigh In on Their Favorite Snoballs

For Snoball Week 2013, Eater asked some of New Orleans finest chefs to divulge their favorite snoball in the city. Here are their ice-cold favorites from Hansen's Sno-Bliz to the Big Top in Mandeville.

Chef Greg Sonnier, Kingfish: Lemon-Lime at Casey's snowballs
Alon Shaya, Domenica: Pandora's Blackberry.
Michael Gulotta, Restaurant August: Pandora's chocolate with condensed milk.
Greg Fonseca, Booty's: Plum Street Snoballs. Nectar cream.
Phillip Lopez, Root and upcoming Square Root: Hansen's cream of coffee with condensed milk. "It's like the Vietnamese cafe su da! It's awesome."

Brian Landry, Borgne: Hansen's vanilla bean
Jeff Mattia, American Sector: Watermelon and condensed milk at the Big Top in Mandeville.
Gus Martin, Muriel's Jackson Square: Sunny's Snowballs in Kenner for ice cream with condensed milk.
